Dining

The recently expanded Flavours Restaurant offers contemporary Cape cuisine and can seat up to 120 people. The Vineyard Terrace is ideal for light and lazy lunches, intimate functions and weddings. The Cedarwood Lounge & Bar is home to one of the most definitive collections of single malt whiskeys in South Africa. Le Venue at The House of J.C. le Roux is a contemporary restaurant available for private functions and weddings.

Six conference venues

The hotel offers six air-conditioned conference venues, which can cater for up to 96 people and are configurable to every seating requirement. Equipment includes a flip chart, white board, screen, lectern and data projector.

Outdoor facilities

The hotel has two swimming pools, a jacuzzi and a petanque court. The ancient French game of Petanque is played with metal balls or "boules" on a gravel surface and has recently become extremely popular in the Winelands with many of the top wine estates fielding their own teams. The hotel's purpose-built Petanque court is situated under the trees below the Vineyard Terrace.

Sylvanvale Wine Tasting

Situated on a producing wine estate, SylvanVale Vineyards, and offers wine tasting and sales at the Cedarwood Lounge & Bar. Wine tasting and purchasing times seven days a week between 11:00 - 23:00.

Vineyard Walks

A variety of vineyard walks offer spectacular views of the valley and the Helderberg Mountains in the distance. As a result of the numerous Protea plantations nearby, the bird-life in Devon Valley is especially varied and prolific.

Music

Music is a strong theme at The Devon Valley Hotel. Piano in the dining room and local classical and jazz musicians perform regularly at the hotel.
